Building Approval for the School site converted Residential plot

Dear Sir,

I am in process of purchasing the land which has been formed for schools. But now it has been converted as Residential plot. My doubt is Can I get a building approval for constructing my Home there? If yes will there be any legal issues in future? Please help me in this regard.

If the property is residential, you should be able to get your building plans sanctioned from the authorities. However, it may be better to seek necessary information from the authorities before you purchase the land.

Once permission is granted and your house is built, there may not be any problem in future.
