Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

I am a complainant in the state consumer forum against a MNC Bank. The complaint was filed during 2008 and the bank did not responded till 2010 and only during the third quarter ie september 2010 the bank had filed vakalat and subsequently they filed the additional documents which we responded by filing the counter and again during the month of July 11 they filed another document through an affidavit for which we filed counter ie on 3.8.11 and the honorable judge asked yesterday for completing the inquiry by way of arguments but my advocate asked for a short date and the matter is posted for the month of September. I want to know by this act of my advocate is my advocate dragging the case? please advice.
