hi
sir i bought a car from patiala(pb). it met with an accident at mohali(UT). i took my car for repair to ludhiana. but my insurence is from patiala. surveyer was appointed at ludhiana. report was made at ludhiana and report send to patiala. can i file a case in ludhiana if there is any?

Courts at Ludhiana will have jurisdiction only in respect of a cause of action qua the repair shop. No other cause of action took place at Ludhiana.

The case may possibly be filed at the place where the accident took place. You may better contact a local Advocate - Mohali / Chandigarh for necessary guidance.
