I have left out some due amount of RS.17,000 in my HSBC credit card and after 3 months I paid the amount 12,500 through collection agent in (5 * 2500) 5 times. After that I left the due amount and the collection agent also stopped coming. Now they updated the due amount 1 lac in CIBIL. and when I called the bank they are saying that the debt was sold to some other non-banking company contact them for the settlement. How I need to settle this. Please advice.
