Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Ours is a placement agency, which provided services to our clients which include screening the candidates, scheduling the candidates, coordinating for the interviews. vacancies were duly filled by us initially only to be found that after few days, selected candidates have left the job. We offered free replacement of candidates to our clients as it was mentioned in our contract ( which means again going through the same process for single price)to which they agreed. but again candidates selected by them left their organisation as a result of their internal problems.

we are ready to give more replacements, but our clients doesnt want them now. in that case, they should be paying us for all the efforts we have put in. after all we are not selling candidates here as good, but providing services. can we take legal action against them?

if yes how much will it cost us..because the amount as debt is not very high, its only 20,000 INR

Hi,

In the presenc e of the contract between you and the company. The action to be taken by you shall be governed by the agreement it self. Prima facie from you post it is observed that you can surly take legal action and ask them to pay your dues. For which you must first communicate with them in writing for the payment and if they dont pay then must send them legal notice demanding such amount.
