If you have been made accused in Cheque Bounce case and the case is filed before the court by the complainant, then you have to show up to the court and proove that you never committed such offense.

once you accept the summons, you need to appear before the court and seek bail. as cheque bouncing a bailable offence, you just need to secure bail with the help of one surety. afterwards, the complainant evidence is taken on record and you would also get an opportunity to lead evidence u/s 313 of crpc.

in case you feel that you are illegally trapped in the case, you may also approach the High Court for recalling of summoning order issued against you by the magistrate.
