can i apply for anticipatory bail before logging of FIR under section 498A

Yes but you will get protection from the court that incase the FIR is registered against you ,the police will not arrest you for 3 or a week so that you can apply for anticipatory bail.

you can apply for the anticipatory bail after lodging of FIR u/s 498a. the above opinion is given without application of mind as no such notice is required nowadays.

I would like to know the difference between hire and engage from Mr. Gupta. I feel he should improve his ENGLISH and legal knowledge before giving any legal opinion. And after working as my junior for several years ,I feel ashamed of him in his legal knowledge and english as both are atrocious .
