cheque bounce

My client have given me a cheque of rs

9000 and it has been bounced on

2/5/08 now i want to file a case against

him where should go.

if u a lawyer, the case u/s 138 of negotiable instruments act is not made out. u may file a suit u/o 37 of the cpc for recovery.

in civil court as the 138 case can be filed within 30 days from default in notice

You may want to file a recovery suit in the court of sub judge (District Courts) of your area.
