credit card default limitation act case study

I read from the forum that the credit card default limitation is 3 years. I am fighting a cese in Permanent lok adalat against a credit card issueing bank. the last transaction was in 2003 march. the learned judge has asked for a case judgement to prove to learn. Can you give some case histories?

you can consult personally or you can consult your lawyer for this.

there is a limitation of 3 years for FILING OF THE CASE.

The limitation for claiming the amount is three years from the date of cause of action.In case of credit card the company has to raise claim and file the cas within three years but it has nothing to do with last transaction. In case of need contact with details.Professional charges are applicable.

Action need to be initiated within 3 years. You have not specified date of suit filed by bank.
