Re: difference between minor and major offence?

Kindly refer sec 222 of crpc. the words minaor offence have not been defined by law, they are taken to be ,not in any technical sense but in their ordinary sense. When a person is charged with an offence, consisting of several particulars, and if all particulars are proved it is major offence or main offence, while if some only are proved then their combination constitutes minor offence.

Simple hurt means hurt other than those described in sec 320 of IPC

Sr.Nos.1 and 2 are not defined in the procedure code. Sr.No.3 is defined in section 319 r/w 320 I.P.C.
