framing charge

this a24 years old case . in 89 metropolitan magistrate under sec 239 asked some questions and i replied .. questions were based on chargesheet .after 20 years2 more questions were added to previous questionere 1)charges 120,420,471 are charged are u pleading guilty?2)have u got means to engage alawer? i read in many judgements that charges should be in writing and it shouldbe explained to the the accused. can the procedure adopted in my case be challenged in high court? i have engaged an advocate but i want to have a secind opinion hence this query.

Separate Charge is prepared and provided and explained to Accused and then questions are asked to accused and question with answer of accused is written down and thereafter accused read and sign the same.

This procedure is usually followed by all the courts.

Check court papers in your case and then decide further line of action.
