Mis-appropriation of KVPs matured amount

The agent of the post office has mis appropriated my friend's KVPs matured amount R,1,27,000. He applied under RTI act the information. The head post office inquiry officer called him to see the papers bt not provinding him the certificates and forms which my friend has signed at the time of purchase. My friend need evidence to file FIR or complaint aginst the authorities. Pl. help me out

The job of collecting evidence is that of police.

You need to further probe in one more aspect of the matter. Normally, if maturity amount is more than Rs.20,000/-, then post office issue a cheque. In your matter, amount was 1,27,000/- and post must have issue a cheque in the your name. Then the possibility of person misappropriating that amount having opened a bogus bank account in your name is bright. Explore this aspect also.
