Re: mutton

You are cheating customers and also have violated Meat Food Products Order, 1973 (MFPO) promulgated under the provisions of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 provides for sanitary and other requirements, limits of heavy metals, preservatives, insecticides, residue, etc., for meat food products.

Thus you are punishable for A) restaurant's licence can be suspended under the PFA Act, and the case can be taken up under the Indian Penal Code too.

B) Minor violations will carry a punishment of six-month jail with Rs 1,000 fine, while major violations will attract seven years' imprisonment.

So please do mend your ways and be pure in business.

Re: mutton

A false declaration is an offence of fraud and cheating. If and whenever caught, you may suffer imprisonment and also be burdened with heavy fine.

However, even if you stop this criminal behaviour from today, possibly you may be scot free for whatever you have done in the past.

You may want to cleanse your guilty conscious by spending the unearned profits on charity.
