After compromising in lok adalat does my friend need to submit an application in magistrate court that they have compromised in Lok Adalat?

In view of provisions of section 320 Cr.P.C., it is doubtful whether matter can be compromised before a Lok Adalat. However, you can compromise with the permission of the Court.

Re: Procedure to compromise a criminal suit in Lok Adalat?
All the offence 406, 408 and 420 are compoundable. I have read one of the view of my brother advocate that 406 is not compoundable, but with respect, it is not correct, and 406 is also compoundable.
In criminal case, lok adalat is not applicable.
