Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I was asked by friend (F) to suggest a person has links with the bank and who settles bank loan at discount rates. I suggested a person (X) to him. It was agreed between them that the person (X) and my friend (F) that the loan of y bank will be settled at Rs.70,000/- permanently. F handedover the money in my presence to X. F started following up with X for settlement letter and receipt for Rs. 70,000/-. X gave the receipt of Rs.40,000/- and settlement letter for Rs. 1.20 lacs instead of Rs. 70,000/-. Now F is constantly after X and me for recovery of Rs.70,000/-. I told my friend u better file complaint against X but he is admant and says that he knows only me and want money from me and is giving threat to file police complaint against me. Please advise me in what way i m liable and responsible. I have not taken any money from X either. i have just suggested the person. please advise me/
