Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My tenant in India ( Maharashtra State) has encroached on 25,000 sq. ft. of land ( apart from the building and area he was given as a tenant)

I wish to file a criminal case against him and the other members of his family who are illegally squatting on my land for years, and even trying to block the sale of the land, since he teases us how ill buy your land s long as I squat on it? He wants a HUGE CHUNK of money from the sale of the land. My question is under WHAT LAWS ( IPC AND CrPC codes) should I file my case under? He is big businessman but is very scared of criminal cases-- he thought I will never file a criminal case against him, But I will most certainly will. Pls give me the relevant sections under which we should prosecute him in the High Court. Many thanks in advance.

You can initiate criminal action for trespass. It should be filed by way of lodging an FIR with the police station which has jurisdiction. There are provisions under IPC.You can't file it In high court.
