Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

a week before i had sent u a question saying "we have a land which we are about to sell.. we have not got any loan or anything on it.but one of my mom's old classmate has put a notice on her saying she has to give 15 lakhs to someone who is not even known by us and has forgered my mom's signature.he has sent a lawer notice saying we are supposed to stop selling the land till we are supposed to pay that money back.till date my mom never borrowed money from anyone for any cause.how to deal with him?it has really ruined my moms reputation." u hav replied to file a criminal case against it and reply to notice....BUT THE THING IS THE NOTICES HAVENT BEEN RECIVED BY MY MOM.HE HAS NOT SENT TO OUR ADDRESS.THEY HAVE BEEN SENT TO MY DAD'S SISTER'S HOUSE IN ANOTHER TOWN.SO MY MOM DIDNT RECIEVE THEM WID HER HAND.NOW ONE MORE SHOCK HE HAS GIVEN IS HE HAD SEND A LAWER NOTICE YESTERDAY TO MY DAD TO OUR AUNT'S ADDRESS ONCE AGAIN AND THEY HAVE RECIEVED IT BUT NOT MY DAD.HE HAD CLAIMED THAT MY DAD HAS BORROWED 40 LAKHS FROM HIM. he is really troubling our family in a psycic manner.it is a huge damage to our family's reputation.how to move forward.is replying to notice which hasent been sent to our address is appreciatable???actually he has taken the duplicate papers of the land regestration with him making us believe that he would bring the coustemers to buy land when we were planning to sell it .will it affect us any way?without any reason he is expecting us to pay 15+40=55 lakhs.it is highly impossible as we swear we havent taken any mmey from anyone.we are financially stable and bear a good reputation in the society.can we claim any case for abusing woman in public lying like this for unrellavent fake claims that we have borrowed amount...
