My wife had register false dowry case against me & my family (Brother (Kolkata),Mother (Kolkata),police is harrasing us,i live in Deoghar (jharkhand) & she stays in Bhagalpur (Bihar).police had given us warning to apper if we dont then they will destroy our house which is in Deoghar (Jharkhand) i want to know whether police has power to destroy my house by buldozer i had ud 9 family case pending against my wife which she is not appearing in court at deoghar,how much it will cost to take anticeptory bail,whether it is necessary to go entire family for this in Bhagalpur (bihar),we are also submitting for bail (ud9,affidavit of court) pls help

Hello,

Police do not have authority to demolish your house due to issuance of warrant in domestic violence case.

All persons have to be present in the court in whose name Warrants are issued.

police has no power to demolish your house unless there is a court order and local authority is involved.
