Legal Question in Discrimination Law in India

We live in West Bengal. My child surname is Patnaik and mine is Shah. I am a journalist and my husband is also a journalist. So my child name is Patnaik. But In his School often he has to face discrimination, as Uria. For a minor mistake his principal has suspended him for a class test. It was actually not my son's fault. There was a child in his class, who said a abusing word and in reaction my child throw a pencil to that boy. It is his mistake. Principal neither punish to that boy nor listen my son's word. There was a parent's call. She insult me openly before watchman, students and as well as teacher. Then I wrote a letter to the school authority against it. After that she call my child and that boy in his room and scold him. And alleged that you use to said bad-bad things against Bengalis. Why u and your family in Bengal. In this school there is majority of student & teachers are is bengalis.

This is not the first time that this kind of abusive words are said.

Now I want to clear it that in my laws family is a mini bharat. My father-mother in law & great Father-Mother In Laws are a freedom fighters. He is faliciated by both Orissa & Bihar Government. In my in laws family there is a Oriya, a Bihari, a Marathi, and a Gujrati bahus. My son have a unties and a brother in law are bengalis. How can i believe that my son can said any bad words to any of the caste. So it is a big lie. She also told my child that she will give him a TC and rusticate him from school. Isn't it injustice to my child? And against the child right, discrimination against law? In this context I want to know that what kind of step I can take against the class teacher & principal? Show me the ways.
