oops! it would depend upon the proof of the date of birth you want now to be incorporated. Each board has its own form for changes in the certificate. You have to fill that form and along with it attach an affidavit in the format prescribed by the board along with the necessary fee for such changes. The board will issue you a new certificate with the change incorporated.

The only remedy available to you is by filing a Writ Petition before the High Court against CBSE . As i have just got the change in the DOB by filing a writ before the Delhi High Court.
