Establishment of Mobile Phone Towers

Is there any legislation restricting the establishment of mobile phone towers near schools and residential areas. If it is where can I get a copy of the law. A private mobile phone company is about to establish their tower quite adjecent to the school where my daughter is studying.

There is no such law or rule, to my knowledge, against establishment of a mobile phone tower near a school. Even if there is no law, a writ can be filed in the High Court against it if you can show sufficient cause as regards violation of fundamental rights. If it is being erected on government land without permission, you can complain to police and to the land owning agency.

I am not sure your fundamental rights are being violated here.
