Legal Question in Family Law in India

Right to ancestral & filial property .

Can the father of an adult son make him sign a Power-of- Attorney for the inherited ancestral property as a precondition to making a settlement with the mother after an annullment of a Roman Catholic Marriage? Is such an annulment legal after more than 20 years of marriage? If the son has signed a POA,can it be revoked? The father was very violent with the mother and the son feared for his mother's life. The annulment was in May 06. The father married another Roman Catholic married woman with children in a court, after engineering her marriage annulment. Now he lives with her in the ancestral home. A Roman Catholic priest aided him in all this. Are these annulments and remarriages legal? The father uses the POA and the ancestral property as a carrot-and -stick to twist the son's arms and make him dance according to his tune. Is the Roman Catholic priest culpable?

Re: Right to ancestral & filial property .

Annulment and remarriage is not illegal but detail facts is to be seen under (Indian)christian marriage act divorce can be on the ground of ADULTERY only.Executor of POA can revoke the POA at any time by sending notice revoking the POA to attorney and also by giving public notice to this effect.
