Legal Question in Family Law in India

Christian divorce

I am a Roman catholic. I got married in a Roman Catholic church. After my marriage within a weeks time my wife went to her maternal home and left me with a note from Women Cell of Delhi Police, that she is leaving me of her own, as I was in hospital under asthamic attack. The case was settled amicalbly and she with all her belongings left me. I approached the church and they told me to file a nullity case of my marriage with my wife with the church. It was over 11 year I never heard from the church. My mother suffered heart attack and I was alone in the house. Under compulsion and prime facie circumstances I was forced to marry a girl, to whom I told everything clearly and my second marriage was solemnised in Hindu rites. She was converted to catholic. After a period of 13 years my second wife's maternal home started creating problem over her conversion. Today she filed a case for Divorce from me in the court of law, leaving one minor daughter with me. She comes alternate days to see my child, the court told me to have a sitting with her AND let the court know what is the outcome of this sitting. Now she says that she was never married to me as I was married earlier. She is neither leaving me nor she is coming back we need her bac

Re: Christian divorce

talk to her! no matter what the court and others say - talk to her you have lived togather and have a wonderful child! nobody else can do anything - it is for you to decide and work out! since you want to live with her it is worth any amount of try! for any problem there must be a reason and core! go there and solve it! learn what actually your wife wants! our best wishes!

Re: Christian divorce

YOU ARE INFACT CAUGHT IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION. YOU MUST CONTACT ME WITH ALL THE CASE PAPERS AND I ADVICE YOU THE BETTER WAY OUT TO GET OUT OF THIS RUT. YOU MUST VISIT THE CHURCH AND CHECK THE STATUS ONCE AGAIN WHETHER THEY NULLIFIED YOUR EARLIER MARRIAGE BEFORE YOU MARRIED FOR THE SECOND TIME. IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO ADVICE ANY FURTHER WITHOUT SEEING THE PAPERS.
