Legal Question in Family Law in India

Daughter rights on fathers property

I have self acquired wealth like

house, cash and commercial

property. My wife has cash which

she has received from her parents.

We have only one daughter. What

is the right of my daughter on the

wealth of me and my wife during

our life time and after our lifetime.

Can my self and my wife use our

part or full wealth for any other

purposes with out giving to our

daughter.

Can my daughter or son inlaw

object or claim right.

Re: Daughter rights on fathers property

it is your wealth and it is your prerogative to deal with the same as per your will and wish. you may donate/will your property and daughter or son in law cannot object to it as it is your self acquired property and even the property of your wife is her self acquired property obtained after partition or succession.
