Dear Sir,
Is the Domestic Violence Act effective from retrospective effect i.e. does alleged events occured before 26 Oct 2006 attract DVA? What does the latest rulings say?

"Domesti violence" is a continuing offence and therefore the Act is applicable for all the incidents happened prior to enactment (2006) also.
