Dear sir

my wife file 498a and DV against me before 1 year after 3 month of my marrige. i did adultity before 6 month of my marrige. my wife at present got a proof of it by some other source. but i did not do any type of adultity after marrige. now my wife want divorce and maintenance with me on the ground of my past before marrige adultity. so plz tell me

1. that can she got divorce and maintenance with me?

2. how can i counter it?

Your pre-marital affairs cannot be a ground for divorce. However, your wife may still be entitled to maintenance, if she decides to live separately or seek divorce.
