No time frame can be predicted. it depends on the Courts How burdened they are.

There are many factors which affect the case.

Normally it takes around 2-3 years to resolve the case but then one cannot estimate the time taken by the Hon'ble Court.

In dva,the magistrate is duty bound to issue orders within a stipulated period of maximum three to four weeks.

In 498A,as per recent rulings of Indian SC & High Courts,investigations by a senior officer,not below the rank of DCP,are mandatory before effecting any arrests to minimise the abuse of 498A by Suparnakhas of modren times.

498A is meant for Sita and not for abusing by Suparnakha.
