Legal Question in Family Law in India

My father was adopted legally by his Pedananna (fathers elder brother). After few years my father got separated from his Pedananna family. My Pedananna family also adopted one more girl (adoption was not done legally in this case). At the time of death my Pedananna was not written any Will. Now my aunty claims that she is owner of all my Pedananna property. My father also expired recently.

Please suggest me how to handle this case? Are we eligible legally to claim on property?

If your father can be regarded as a heir of Pedananna as per the law of succession governing him, then he can claim share.
