gift settlement deed

my father registerd his property on me and my elder brother by the way of Gift Settlement Deed. my father has two wifes we are the first wife sons.my mother and father died recently. our property is my father self-earned property.our father second wife is having tow sons and twos daughters.She alredy divorced my father and taken 100000/- in the name of Permenant maintainance. Now my question is wether they are also having rights on our Property.Please send me message as quickly as possible. thank you sir i will waiting for your message.

If your father, while alive, has made a gift by a registered deed, in favour of you and your brother, then, the other wife's children have no right whatsoever over the gifted property.

If the property is your fathers self-acquired property, he has an absolute right of disposition to the exclusion of others who are not the beneficiaries of the settlement deed.
