I am a government servant but was arrested recently on 498 (A) and was in jail for 2 weeks until I was released on bail. Will this impact my job?

you may be suspended as you have stayed in jc for more than 48 hours but you may still check the employment rules.

You should have been placed under suspension by now. However, you may make a representation for your reinstatement after your are released on bail. The employer may keep you under suspension during pendency of trial.
