Legal Question in Family Law in India

on what grounds i can evict my tenant, who have occupied my commercial shop for more than 33 years. We are giving him the receipt also on a tenant charge of only Rs 250 per month, he have given 2000/- as a advance for the shop 33 years at the time of taking the shop, but no proof of the advance is present.

Pls advice

No need to talk about the advance in the absence of proof for the advance received.

In the absence of any written agreement though the tenant is staying for the last 33 years that will be considered as monthly tenancy.

For personal use of the land lord can issue a notice terminating the monthly tenancy. There is no need to give more reasons than that, in the notice. On expiry of the notice period it is open for initiating eviction proceedings against the Tenant.
