I am hindu lady remarried to a Hindu gentleman. I have a son from my previous marriage and would like to change his surname on the passport to my present husbands surname and would also like to add my present hsbands name as fathers name in my sons passport. How can I do this, would request your kind advice.

you may use step father s name but with the permission of the court or express consent of biological father.

Your former husband's written consent / NOC will be required for changing son's name.
