Legal Question in Family Law in India

my husband has given me the notice for restitution of conjugal rights. I dont want to live with him for the time being as i need some more time for consideration.can i claim any maintainance from him as i have 2 children and they are living with me.

Yes you can claim maintanace. but Ill suggest that since there appear to be good chances of reconcliation from your side also therefore Ill suggest that you appear before the Court and ask the Court for some time to think over the issue. Certainly Court will listen you. Claiming maintanace can flair up the situation.
