Legal Question in Family Law in India

Right to Information Act

I have given a complaint to police on 2006'Oct on a matrimonial issue (to bind over the people who are influencing my wife, as my wife is an emotionally immatured girl). Police said they entered my complaint in to General Dairy but didn't give me any receipt. after 2 months (december '2006)of my complaint, police called all people and they came with local mass/rowdies to station with an already well written false 498A complaint. Since i wanted my wife at that time , as per their force i have given a written statement that, i will take care of my wife if those influencing people didn't enter into my house. But my wife didn't give anything in writing to be with me. But i heard that they are already decided to send her to U.S(her sister is in U.S), and she is taking MCA entrance for that. Later in 2007'march they sent my wife to my home , and she has taken away all gold, those vedios, photoes which shows we are happy. and in April'2007 she put 498A on our entire family. we are on bail now.

. I heard that they managed to destroy my complaint entered in G.D by bribing police.

1. SHALL I USE R.T.T.I act to get receipt from police,to show that i already have given complaint against them. if not HOW TO GET IT? any other ways to?.

Re: Right to Information Act

Move proper application under the provisions of Right of Information Act to the concerned authority requesting to give information regarding the action taken by them on your complaint given by you in Oct.2006 by depositing the required fees of which receipt will be issued to you. You can also demand complaint D.D. no which was entered by the police. The police official are bound to give you the information within 30 days otherwise they have to face the action.
