Legal Question in Family Law in India

Married to a NRI according to Hindu marriage in temple but the marriage is not registered. As per the law it needs to be registered. Now he is not ready to register the marriage in this situation is it possible to force him to register the marriage ?

Many lawery said that photographs are valid to prove the marriage but with photographs it can be only be proved that the marriage ceremony took place but unless the bride and groom are not signing on a official document it is not legal and is not accepted in any court of law.

Also with technologies one can morph photographs and video so only the legal documents with a registered marriage is valid.

along with the photographs, there must be some witnesses who were there at the time of marriage. any of your friends or the temple priest must be present there. they can support the photographs. you may visit www.karvai.in to read more on marriage laws.
