i am married before 3yrs.from marriage initial days onwards i faced lot of problems in my matrimonial house.later as i discussed before my marriage that ia m willing to do ms in uk.,my husband agreed and through my father funding i went and completed ms recently.now my husband told that he is gonna file the petition upon desertion.i am shocked for his plan.........?what to do how i can object his petition.now i am allowed to my matrimonial house too............how i can fi8 his case objecting it,as i dnt wanted to divorce him at any cost.......................how much average tym it will take for me to win this case by contesting it........................plz suggest me

a) You may oppose the petition and file your reply / objections on available grounds;

b) You cannot be stopped from entering / living in the matrimonial home, unless there is a restraining order from Court. You may approach the local police authorities if you are denied access to matrimonial house.

c) Time taking in these proceedings cannot be estimated.

You may also be entitled to appropriate reliefs under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act for maintenance and shared accommodation.
