if the petitioner is not appearing for more than one year in the case,what is the valid period of power of attorney?

If the Petitioner is appearing through PoA holder, it is deemed that he has appeared. Your question - what relevancy does it have with PoA and appearance?

There is no limit of POA, if your advocate is appearing then it will not be dismissed.
