Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am having one querry for one of my friend.he is working in railway and earning good salary.he has dispute between family and his wife went to her mothers home.he wants her back as disputes are in every relation.aslo filled case to bring her back.but neither she is coming nor responding to that case and has filled divorce and maintenance against him.she i asking for half of his salary he earns and also dont want to come to him.when she was with him.He has purcashed one property in her name for which his is having power of attorney.She is aksing for that also.pls suggest some legal action so taht she come to him or leave him with some short of compromise
