sir, previously i asked the question abt my mother, she applied the divorce case against my father. my father rejected to give any amount for household expenses. and he want's the property those my mother have.my mother is giving tution to small students, and we are three siblings. i hav younger brother (21yr old) and elder sister(25 yr old).both are wrking bt their job's are temperary. and i m studying in m.tech(23 yr old). i got the ans we can file the domestic voilence case against my father, now i wants to knw how my mother can apply the domestic voilence case against my father, how much time it will take to solve. wat wil be the fees of lawer. if possible please suggest me some lawer to whom we can approch.my mother is leaving in new delhi. your information wil be very benefical for me sir. thankyou

you can approach a good local lawyer if you want to file a pvt case of Domestic Violence. Otherwise you may go thru police. Fees differs from lawyer to lawyer. Time may be minimum 10 months to 1 year but your mother can apply for interim maintenance.
