Sir,
I recently filed for domestic violence against my husband and in-laws.Now my husband want me to withdraw the case or he will file for divorce.I do not want to give him divorce as i have two daughters aged 13 and 8.Can he force me to divorce even if i am not willing to give him divorce . My in-laws
are the real culprit as they always misguide him. Please guide me.

even if he files a divorce, you can oppose the petition and it would not be easy for him to get it. you can also seek maintenance for yourself and your children. there is no need to withdraw any complaint under DV under threat of divorce.
