Sir,

My husband arrested in 498A and bailed. The case not yet come for trial

our lawyer is telling it will take 2 -3 years to come for trial he arrested on 26/06/2009.

If go for divorce ? After divorce the case will be closed? No written proofs for

my dowry. Oral proofs are accepted?

divorce may be granted or obtained even if criminal case is pending. you may go for divorce by mutual consent and settle the matter once for all.
