mere remarriage of mother is no ground for the grandfather to become a guardian of the minor child. you need to make out a strong case against the mother that after re marriage, she is not able to take care of the child and the welfare of the child lies with you. for this purpose, you may retain a lawyer and file a petition for custody and visitation.

You have to build a case to get the custody of your grand son by saying and proving the that mother of your grand son is bad etc.
