If the wife coverts herself to Christianity, after after the marriage as Hindu and having a 3.5 yrs old son. If husband files a case for divorce and child custody, please advise whether the father needs to give maintenance?

even if she converted to Christianity, she got married as per Hindu Law and needs to be divorced as per Hindu Law. you got a strong case for divorce. you cannot deny maintenance to your son and she can also seek maintenance u/s 125 of crpc.

maintenance rights are available to a wife irrespective of her religion.
