Legal Question in Family Law in India
My wife and me filed case for mutual divorce in family court. I have paid half payment what she was asking on first hearing. Now for second hearing after six month she didn't come. And threatening for more money.
Please let me know how can i get divorce. I am also ready to pay remaining amount.

if at the time of first motion, her statement in person was recorded and further that it has come on record about the total amount out of which half has been paid, then, the court can compel her to come to the court on your deposit of the remaining amount in the court.
She can be compelled by the Court for appearing before the Court. Further other possibilities can also be worked out in such a situation LEGALLY. But for that we need to have some discussions.
