My wife has been staying away from me since Jan 18. All this while all of my attempts have been futile. She has gone forward and filed a case for divorce. I want her and my son to be with me. I have done mistakes but nothing anywhere close to the requirements of a divorce. How can i win this case?

you have an option to contest her divorce petition. you can file a petition for visitation rights to meet your son. an RCR can also be filed within her jurisdiction.

When you know that you want your wife and son back in your life. What are you doing in this forum ? Engage a good matrimonial lawyer . Even if we give you legal advice ,you still would need a lawyer to file petition etc before the court.

engage a advocate and file petition for restitution of conjugal rights and defend the case for divorce. If possible convince her and amicably settle the matter out of court.
