(1) whether police report under sec 173(2) of Cr. p.c is a public document?
(2) whether sec 173(2) of cr. p.c covered by the exeption of right to information act. whether you can ask for the report by filing on RTI application?

Police repot under section 173 is not a public document. It is a priveleged communication between the investigating agency and the magistrate. RTI does not apply to.
