Re: Hindu Co-Parcenary

HUF or Hindu Undivided Family is the entity of the Hindu Undivided family recognised by Indian Law

Hindu Coparcenery is the status of each individual member of this HUF. Every male member of a HUF upon birth becomes a coparcenery of this family and is entitle to the properties incomes benefits etc of the HUF. No property can be alienated during the minority of a coparcenery unless with the consent of a court. If any property has been alienated then the Coparcenery (member of the HUF) can within reasonable time of his attaining majority rescind (cancel) the contract.

Thus HUF is the undivided unit and the Coparcenery is the individual status of a person.
