Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act.2005

Hindu Succession (Amendment)Act 205 says:

1.Property alienated prior ot 20.12.2004 cannot be invalidated.

2. Property partitioned prior to 20.12.2004 cannot be called in question by virtue of this amendment.

Whether this is a question of fact or question of law. Please clarify.
