Do NRI need to sign the unfilled paper to sign to authorize the lawyer to fight on his behalf in the court? . My broher in law used to send unfilled paper to my wife asking to sign to authorize some lawyer .Can he misuse the signature on the unfilled authorization paper .

It is advisable to sign the filled paper or restricted power to conduct the suit to some trusted and knowledgeable person.

it is advisable to sign the papers that are duly filled. in case unfilled papers are signed, it needs to be described as to what all papers were signed.
