Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

Hello Sir,

If my father wrote a will ( it's a Registered will) on his two sons unequally, is that will valid?

Because it's not self aquired by my father and it's a Ancestral property got his share from his father.

So this will is legitimate?

If yes then how it's legitimate?

If no then how it's not legitimate?

in case it is an ancestral property, the will may not hold good and is applicable only with regard to the undivided share of your father. that share may be divided unequally.

In case of ancestral property, you need to prove that it is ancestral. If your father acquired it by Will, then he has full right to dispose off. In any event, you are only two sons as stated by you, hence this is a mere academic question.
